1. What is the name of your story?
2. What outcome did your group pick for this week?
3. In one at least two paragraphs, explain how the outcome is related to your story.
1. The name of my story is Bounty.
2. My group choose the outcome, student analyzes George Saunders stories through the lens of sociological imagination.
3.In this story the narrator is trying to deal with different issues. One of this issues is that he’s a flawed. A flawed is a person that is physical deformed. Also the narrator is facing racial discrimination. He is a black flawed man. He has to cover himself from people to hide his flaw.
One line that shows discrimination against flawed and black people is “Keep the American gene pool pure.” For me this line shows how people with no physical deformation or white people discriminate the flawed and blacks. It is also adverting people to do not interact with them.

August 28, 1992. A woman gave birth to a girl named Normaris.
In 1993 mom & dad were competing to see which word I was going to say first , “mama” or “papa”.I said “mama”
June of 1994 I was baptized on the Catholic Church.
In August of 1996 I started attending to Head Start.
In August of 1997 I started Kinder Garden.
In December of 2000 my first niece Isis Cristal was born.
In August, 2002 My second niece Zamalys was born. And in October my 3rd niece Fatima Victoria was also born.
In 2003 I graduated from 6th grade in Puerto Rico.
In 2004 my niece Sophia Victoria was born.
In 2005 I moved to the United States. First to Connecticut, later to New York.
In 2006 I graduated from Middle School in New York.In September I started High School.
In 2008 my nephew Jesus Daniel was born.
In 2009 my nephew Edwin Yandel was born. And in October my nephew Jesus Daniel passed away.
In 2010 I attend to Bronx International High School as a Senior.

A jetliner crashed northeast of Moscow. 77 people got killed. The plane crashed at 22:45 PM, and it was ready to land at Ivanovo. This plane wasa flying from Mineralnye Vody, in Russia. It had 72 passengers and 5 crew members.The reason of this wasn’t know.
In Shooting That Hurt 12, The Witnesses Are Scarce
Investigators questioned people who were gunned outside of a Bronx apartment. Many victims was hurt, but no one got killed. They tried to ask people for clues, but witnesses were too scare. Investigators believed it was a group of 6 - 8 people at 1 Am who drew out an impressive arsenal of weapons, fired about 60 shots and sped away. Leaving a sidewalk full of victims bleeding, and horrified bystanders.

No. I never get interested before to research about this events that ocurred the day of my birthday.
2. Is there anything about any of these events that surprises you?
Yes. I think the one about the shooting. It surprises me because it really occurred so close to my house. And also a lot of innocent people got hurt with some people and they didn’t even know who they were.
3. Do you have any connections, large or small to any of these events?
I don’t think I have any connection with this.
4. Do you think that any of these events had an impact, large or small, on your life or those of your family members that you know of?
I don’t think none of this events had an impact on any of my family members. Either on me.
What conclusions can you draw about what your city/town was like on the day you were born based on this newspaper? What other observations can be made?
I believe that my town was so dangerous to live in during those days. Also I noticed that the day I was born many bad things occurred. For example the airplane crash, and the Hurricane. I think I brought bad luck. LOL
